巨大π電子金属錯体分子の形状に依存した配位アシンメトリー機能の創出

研究内容

本学術領域研究では、金属イオンの非対称配位に基づく固有の分子アシンメトリー機能の発現を期待して、精密に設計された巨大π電子共役系キラル金属錯体の創製を行う。具体的には、天然色素であるポルフィリン構造に倣ったπ共役オリゴピロール分子群を基本骨格として、捻じれ構造を複数の金属配位により精密制御することで、低対称性ヘリカル配位キラリティーに基づく近赤外円偏光センシング能や螺旋状電導現象による磁気特性(ソレノイド特性)について検討する。さらに、種々の高次π共役らせん構造のピロール環の結合様式に摂動を加えることで金属配位形式の次元制御とその光・磁気物性相関について明らかにする。以上のπ共役分子の配位アシンメトリー化学を通して、新たなナノエレクトロニクス分子材料の開拓を推進する。
