Research Project

Development of Metallonanobelt Possessing Asymmetric Coordination Space

Abstract

In this project, we intend to synthesize belt-shaped metal complexes possessing cylinder helicity, named asymmetric metallonanobelt, and develop novel chiral materials with internal asymmetric coordination space. Supramolecular polymerization of asymmetric metallonanobelt lead to assembly of this unique coordination space, which is expected to exhibit novel properties and functions.
