Research Project

Development of Coordination Asymmetry Based on Sandwich Structures

Co-Investigator

Tetsuro Murahashi (Professor, School of Materials and Chemical Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology)

Abstract

In this project, we develop Coordination Asymmetry using multinuclear sandwich motif. The research includes studies of (1) asymmetric oligomerization of mixed-metal sandwich cluster (2) development of chiral metalloligand with sandwich structures (3) chiral recognition and asymmetric catalysis by asymmetric sandwich complexes. Chiral recognition or asymmetric catalysis by using chiral sandwich complexes are also investigated.
