研究内容

本新学術領域研究では、レドックス特性と発光特性に特徴を持つ「多核金属錯体」をモチーフとした超分子クラスター構造を構築するとともに、それらを異方的結晶空間ならびに異相界面(固液界面・気液界面)へ集積化することにより、非対称場に特異的に発現する構造・物性化学を確立する。具体的には、次の研究課題を推進する。(1)多核大環状クラスターに発現する多電子移動特性と非対称電荷分布について、構造・分光・電気化学の観点から検証し、「量子ドットセルオートマトン」最適1分子セルの開発を目指す。(2)強発光性・二重発光性を示す新規な銅・銀・金・白金クラスターおよびその結晶相を構築し、異方的結晶空間での超高圧下、非対称分子ひずみ・充填構造ひずみを作り出すことで、新規な光物性・励起状態の化学を開拓する。高圧環境を気液界面系へも展開し、異相空間での新しい配位アシンメトリーの学理を構築する。
