Research Project Unique Photofunctionalities Induced by Asymmetric Coordination Spheres
Abstract To dissymmetrize the coordination sphere of symmetric metal complexes is simple but highly efficient to enhance their functionalities. The dissymmetry is expanded to anisotropic molecular assemblies that realize unidirectional exciton or electron transport. The author started above-mentioned research in 2010. Herein, by expanding the knowledge and result thus far, unique, innovative, and “coordination asymmetric” photofunctional materials.
