Development of Chiral Transfer Systems Templated by Chiral Fullerenes | ||
Abstract |
The large macrocycles possessing a large molecular surface area should provide unique optoelectronic properties as sensing agents. Pyrene with a planar π-plane is a representative highly emissive molecule. An alkoxy-substituted 1,8-pyrenylene macrocycle pentamer adopts topological chirality deriving from an antinomy-triggered twisted skeleton. The aim of my research is to make complexes of asymmetrically pure CP5 with C76 that will result in chiral transfer based on asymmetric interface and space of CP5, and create unique chiral material conversion (molecular recognition), and directivity carrier transfer functions with the assembled structure. |
